Who is Next Stage suitable for?
Our classes are suitable for boys and girls aged 3.5 (Minis) and 6+ (Main School).
Do many boys attend?
Yes! We have always had many boys attending Next Stage.
What does my child need to bring to class?
Students should bring a bottle of water (or another drink) and wear comfy clothes and shoes.
Can I stay with my child?
We operate a parent-free zone in class. From our experience, we have found that children socialise better with their peers and are more focused when their parents are not present in sessions. Evelyn will always update you on their progress and will, of course, phone you if there are any problems. You are welcome to stay nearby, and can always text Evelyn to see how they are getting on!
Do the children do shows?
We invite parents in to see showcase performances once a term, as well as preparing for a show in a theatre once a year. However, this is not the sole aim of our theatre school: we want to build children’s confidence, and instil them with a love of performance and a wealth of creativity. This is just as important as our performances, sometimes more so!
Can I pay weekly?
We offer a Pay As You Go taster session on your child’s first week, so you can make sure they like it before you commit! This costs €10 for Minis and €13 for Main School, which is then deducted from the term’s fees if your child decides to continue. Unfortunately you cannot pay weekly after that, but you can pay in three installments during the term if that suits you better.
Can I pay online?
All deposits and full payments are by bank transfer or Paypal.
